Since my tiny house will travel with me wherever I go, I’m going to need a vehicle capable of towing it from place to place. And while I’ll do my best to plan my travel days to avoid bad weather – you know, like blizzards & shit like that, opting for a 4-wheel-drive seems like a prudent and practical choice.
And while I’m certain I could find a used truck that is perfectly capable of doing the job, considering the number of miles I’ll be driving, there’s not a chance in hell I’m going to risk getting stuck with a lemon. So, as financially impractical as it may seem, I will be opting for a showroom-new vehicle that will be reliable and under factory warranty well into WanderingAimlessAly.com’s future.
I’d much prefer to have an all-electric vehicle, but I’ve not yet found one that will meet the minimum payload & towing requirements. If you know of one, please let me know. I’d love to check it out.
